International Board of Directors Nominations
FSC has opened the election period for the FSC International Board Elections 2013. For this election, FSC has received the following applications for candidates to the Board:

- Glenda Amarilis Lee - Economic South
- Ping-Lung Huang - Economic South
The voting process started on 3 November 2013, and will remain open for 30 days. Voting will close, therefore, on 3rd December 2013 midnight Mexico Central Time, so long as we reach quorum. If quorum is not reached, voting will be extended as req uired.
FSC Marketplace Update
The re-developed Marketplace website is currently being tested by Network Partners and Certificate Holders to test the functionality of the new website before launching towards the end of this year.
Oji Nepia promoting FSC label
Certificate holder Oji Nepia (facial and toilet paper brand) has recently launched a marketing campaign in Japan entitled "Nepia Arimasuka (Do you have Nepia?)” to promote their FSC certified and labeled Nepia tissues via web and social media. One of their videos features renowned figure ice skater (Mao Asada). Their marketing initiatives also include product packaging whereby the FSC label has been enlarged and strategically placed to raise awareness. Although the marketing campaign was just launched this week it has attracted already much media attention and received many views on social media:
