Following a call for nominations, FSC ANZ is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Cleary to the Standards Development Group (SDG), which is responsible for revising the Forest Stewardship Standard (FSS) for Australia. Tim replaces Lorraine Cassin for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union.
Lorraine made significant contributions, and we extend our gratitude for her dedicated work. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
Tim joins the SDG through his role as Stakeholder Engagement Lead at ForestWorks, a not-for-profit organisation supporting the forest, wood, paper, timber and furnishing industries with skills development services. With his strong background in stakeholder engagement, Tim brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by his work with workers, unions and employers across the forest management sector.
FSC ANZ looks forward to Tim’s contribution as the SDG continues the important work of revising the Forest Stewardship Standard.
The public consultation on the first draft of the revised Standard is open until 30 September 2025. We encourage all interested stakeholders to participate in the revision by reviewing the draft and providing feedback on the proposed changes.
